Korea
The country is broken up into two sections: North Korea and South
Korea. The official name of the country is the Republic of Korea
and the official language is Korean. A President and a Prime Minister
govern the country. The capital is Seoul. The population is
46,451,000. Half of the population is male and the other half is
female. Most of the people practice Buddhism. Folk dances
survive, and folk music, accompanied by native musical instruments, is
performed occasionally at ceremonies and festive occasions.
